Feed the Hunger is a non-profit 501(c)3 children’s outreach program that feeds starving children locally and all over the world. They organize events called Pack-A-Thons where people come together in two-hour shifts for one weekend and pack food to send to underprivileged countries.

Ole Miss student Kate Redding is currently helping to organize a Pack-A-Thon in Oxford and hoping that 700 students and community members will join her in the two-day effort. This year’s event is also teaming up with Love Packs and More than a Meal.

When: Friday, February 28th and Saturday, March 1st
Goal: 700 volunteers to pack 140,000 meals and raise $38,000 (Individuals: $65; Teams of 17: $1,100)
Contact Kate Redding to volunteer/donate: olemissfth@gmail.com or 703-405-1131
